GloBug Learning is a Brisbane-based instructional design and eLearning studio. We help organisations across Australia get the best out of their people, with training they will use long after the course is over.
We started GloBug because we had sat through too much workplace training that looked fine and changed nothing. People click through it, pass the quiz, and forget it by Friday afternoon. That is a waste of everyone's time and a waste of money, and it comes down to how the training was designed.
So we set out to do it properly. We build learning that is warm on the surface and rigorous underneath, grounded in how adults take things in, so it sticks and changes how people work. That belief sits behind everything we make.
Between us we have spent more than ten years in learning and development, and you do not have to work in this industry long to see how much needs fixing. There is a lot of tired content out there, and plenty of poor quality work pushed out without a second glance. Most of us have sat through the mindless module, the onboarding that has not changed in years, the training that has nothing to do with the actual job. When the material going out to your people is only ever good enough, that becomes the standard and the bar stays low. Your people deserve better than that. You deserve better. We all do.
We started GloBug because we were tired of work coming through that needed ten rounds of revisions and still was not up to scratch. We have a keen eye and we are proud of it, and we pour real care and time into everything we make, so you can be confident the work you get back is genuinely good and your stakeholders stay happy.
Our backgrounds run across instructional design, graphic design and classroom teaching, so the learning we make is grounded in how people actually learn and crafted to look and feel the part while it does it.
Plenty of providers are bigger than us, and none of them will care more about your project. Staying small lets us stay close to the work and close to you, which is where good learning comes from. We would rather do a handful of things brilliantly than a hundred at arm's length.
We care that learning works for the people who have to do it, so we design for everyone and build accessibility in from the start. We are honest about what will help and what will not, even when that means recommending less than you came in for. And we hold ourselves to the standard of work we would be proud to put our name on.
